Timi Near bids a fond farewell to San Jose Rep with 'Spelling Bee'
The 64-year-old actress-director stepped down as the company's artistic director last spring after spending nearly a third of her life in the job. Since then, she has been serving as a company advisor until she takes her final bow directing the local premiere of the cheeky musical 'Spelling Bee,'which runs through June 7.
