Batman goes Bale-istic with profane tirade on crew

Exclusive clip: 'Rent's' final Broadway performance

Chances are, even the most die-hard Rent-heads missed the four-day window last September when "Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway" hit movie theaters. The movie, out on DVD this week, was culled together from two special performances, one being its final Broadway run, and it includes an appearance by the original cast singing "Seasons of Love."

Above, producers and crew talk about the show moving into the Nederlander Theater.

A video clip from Friday's 'Battlestar Galactica'

UPDATE: Thanks to "Battlestar" fan SevorTB, I've posted another video clip at the very end of this post. It's a little more spoilery, in my opinion, so proceed with caution if you're staying spoiler-free.

Below is a clip from Friday's episode of Sci Fi's "Battlestar Galactica," "Blood on the Scales." Remember how last week's episode left us on the edge of our seats with that closing "to be continued"? Well, here's a minute of what happens next.

If you are wary of spoilers, believe me, I am too -- but having said, that, I'm glad I watched the clip. I thought it was a welcome glimpse of a particular aspect of a central character on the show. And I am guessing this clip is pulled from the first few minutes of the episode.

I hope to post an interview with the writer of the episode, Michael Angeli, after "Blood on the Scales" airs (if I'm unable to, I'll let you know).

For post-mortems on the last three episodes from executive producer Ronald D. Moore and also from co-executive producer Mark Verheiden, who wrote last week's episode, go here, here and here.

One final "Battlestar Galactica" note: A Famous Author has a cameo role on an upcoming episode of the show. There's a picture of the Famous Author and Minor Television Personality in his "Battlestar" costume here.

OK, the clip is below.

Here's the promo for next week's episode from SevorTB. It's a subjective judgment call, but I think this is more spoilery than the clip above, so proceed with caution. But it also fills me with anticipation for Friday's episode:

Christian Bale can be heard in newly surfaced audio delivering a long, profanity-laced verbal thrashing to a cinematographer and anyone who tried to calm him down on the set of the upcoming "Terminator Salvation.
In New Show, Couples Will Have Arranged Marriages

CBS' new realty show Arranged Marriage will follow four couples who enter into arranged marriages. James Poniewozik, who writes the Tuned In column for Time magazine, says the eternal game in reality TV is what can you do to up the last premise.
